Terms of Service

Effective date: October 13, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and E-Splice LLC (“E-Splice”, “we”, “us”) for motolap.e-splice.com and the Chainline Moto Lap web and Android apps (the “service”), an add-on to Chainline by Dragy Moto Lab. By using the service you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. Chainline itself, including accounts and Chainline Pro subscriptions, is governed by the Dragy Moto Lab Terms of Service.

1. The service

Chainline Moto Lap adds lap and pass timing, replay and analysis tools to Chainline. We may change, add or remove features.

2. Closed course only; estimates only

• Use the service only on a closed course where it is legal and safe. Never operate your phone while riding.
• Phone GPS is usually about 1 Hz. The 10/25 Hz path is a labeled simulator, not a connected logger. Results are not certified timeslips.
• Built-in tracks are practice geometry, not official circuit maps. Class references are illustrative pace marks. Density altitude is a workshop estimate.

3. Your data

Your logs are stored on your device. You are responsible for backing them up, for example by exporting files.

4. Acceptable use

Don’t misuse the service or interfere with it.

5. Third parties

The service uses third-party data (Open-Meteo) and can exchange files with other apps. We aren’t responsible for third-party content or services. Chainline Moto Lap is an original timing tool. It is not the Dragy Lap app and is not affiliated with Dragy Motorsports or any motorcycle manufacturer.

6. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, E-Splice LLC is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for any injury or damage arising from riding or from relying on the service’s figures.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Mississippi, USA.

We may update these terms and will post the new version here.
