Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 13, 2026

Chainline Moto Lap is an add-on to Chainline by Dragy Moto Lab, both apps of E-Splice LLC (“E-Splice”, “we”, “us”). This policy covers motolap.e-splice.com (the “site”), the Moto Lap web app at /app/ and the Chainline Moto Lap Android app (package com.esplice.motolap). Your Chainline account, subscription and the Chainline app are covered by the Dragy Moto Lab Privacy Policy.

1. Summary

Moto Lap has no separate account and does not send your laps, passes or tracks to our servers. Logs stay in IndexedDB in your browser or in the Android app on your phone.
Location and Bluetooth are used only on your device, and only after you allow them.
We don’t sell personal data, show ads or use advertising trackers in the app.

2. Data on your device

Laps, passes, GPS traces, tracks you draw, board entries and settings are stored on your device. Clearing the site data or uninstalling the Android app deletes them. Files you import (GPX, CSV, JSON, video) are read on your device.

3. Location and Bluetooth

If you allow it, the app uses your device’s location to time laps and passes and to fetch local weather. A Bluetooth link to a timing device is made directly from your browser or phone. We don’t receive or store location or device data.

4. Third-party services

Open-Meteo (api.open-meteo.com): weather and local air; receives coordinates and your IP address.
Chainline by Dragy Moto Lab (dragymotolab.e-splice.com): only when you choose to open it or import results there. The Dragy Moto Lab Privacy Policy applies.

5. Website

Our hosting server keeps standard logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for security and troubleshooting. WordPress and WooCommerce may set cookies needed for the site to work. If you email us, we receive your email address and message.

6. Retention and your choices

Server logs and emails are kept only as long as needed to run the service and meet legal obligations. To ask about or delete data we hold, email support@e-splice.com.

7. Children

Chainline Moto Lap is not directed to children under 13.

8. Changes and contact

We’ll post changes on this page.
